Omba announces appointment of Graeme Tarr as Head of Advisory

OMBA BOLSTERS ADVICE PROPOSITION

Omba Advisory and Investments, a London based Wealth and Investment manager founded in 2007 has hired Graeme Tarr to boost their advice proposition.

Tarr joins as Head of Advisory and in his new role he will focus mainly on building a retail client offering at Omba Advisory and Investments providing clients advice with retirement and investment planning, will drafting and estate planning and emigration planning. In future, subject to regulatory approval, the offering will also be extended to include life and health insurance.

During his 20 year career, which includes stints at Alexander Forbes in Johannesburg and Vitality UK, he has experience in running a large advisory business, consulting to corporate pension funds and to high net worth individuals.

Tarr has an honours degree in economics and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) registered with both the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments in the UK and the Financial Panning Institute in South Africa.

Omba Advisory and Investments Director, David Pierson said Tarr’s appointment would strengthen Omba’s advisory team as it seeks to grow its market share in the space. Omba would also be applying to the FCA to extend its licensed offering to include protection.
